Explore the Power
Colibri Evaluation Boards are designed to be a flexible development environment to explore the functionality and performance of Intel/Marvell XScale® based Colibri Modules. Colibri Evaluation Boards are fitted either with a Colibri XScale® PXA270 312MHz / 520MHz (Bulverde) module or a Colibri XScale® PXA320 806MHz (Monahans) module, or a Colibri XScale® PXA300 206MHz (Monahans) module.
User Interface
Colibri Evaluation Boards provide an analog VGA connector to interface directly to a CRT or TFT screen by providing a generic LCD connector. Colibri Modules also have the ability to drive almost every TFT panel. A special connector for the Philips LB064V02-A1 TFT is integrated on the Evaluation Board.
Keyboard and mouse can be attached through PS/2 connectors or the USB port. Colibri Evaluation Boards also provide switches, buttons and LEDs for simple user interaction.
Audio input and output is available on standard jacks.
Colibri Extensions
All interfaces of Colibri Modules are designed to be easily accessible by any external hardware. For the most common interfaces, the required hardware and standard connectors are already integrated. A list of ready-to-use interfaces can be found in the feature summary box on the right of this page.
The entire 32Bit bus of the PXA270 is accessible through an extension connector. The same applies for the 16Bit bus of the PXA320 and PXA300.
On-Board DC/DC converters deliver up to 5 Amps at 5V and 3.3V for additional hardware
